Thank goodness the holidays are over! People lose their minds (me included). Its a new year and I have made a few steps in the right direction. I have officially partnered with One Heart Ministries and through our strategic partnership, we will form a third company that will manufacture audio/video equipment. This way, we can qualify for funding through the EDC. I have to schedule another "Bored" Meeting with the SBDC to develop a business plan. I also got another gig next month in Ft Meade at the "Arts on Broadway" Arts and Crafts Festival. Funny story about setting that up: the director calls me an asks for my website information. She misspelled something in the address and ended up at an "Adult" website with "strong sexual themes". She called back and politely declined her offer. We worked it out though. I sent her a link and we were both relieved. Communication is key! This morning I am headed to a meeting with the IDA, a potential investor in the company. I nearly gave up during earlier this year, when the bank account went into the red for the first time. But the bank was understanding and allowed me to make monthly payments. The debit card is frozen for the moment, but it aint about the money right now. Its about the passion, the drive, the discipline, and the determination..the money is just a by product.
